I would like to know what kind of forum software do you guys prefer? I personally prefer Vbulletin. It adds a sense of entitlement to your forum. Shows that you paid for a great software and you didn't waste any money on cheap stuff. Unless that is you have a hacked version which I think is totally wrong, but hey that's me.

i think is phpbb and vB i like vB more.. but cant afford to buy!

VBulletin is very expensive a bought a license along time ago and it was expensive then!!

ok.. In the point of you.. does this forum need a homepage?

In my opinion i don't think it really needs one, i like the whole look of the forum and you can end up losing a lot of potential members as they want to be able to get straight to what they are looking for. I would stick with not having it just yet
